Job Model
Assessment
Predictive Index Employee Assessment
The Predictive Index® process is a
combination of employee assessment, education and consulting. At
the core of this process is the Predictive Index survey: a
workplace-related behavioral assessment tool which helps
managers identify the drives and motivations of their people,
and the Job Model which helps you identify the behaviors and
drives necessary for superior performance on a specific job.
Combined, the two tools provide managers with invaluable
insights for employee assessment, coaching, leadership
development, succession planning, team performance and more. The
end result: improved performance and productivity for your
entire organization.
-
It all starts with a simple checklist
At first glance, it appears to be a simple checklist of
personality traits. For all its apparent simplicity,
however, the Predictive Index (PI) is a sophisticated
instrument that's been scientifically validated as a
reliable predictor of work-related behavior. As anyone who
has completed PI will tell you, the results are uncannily
accurate.
The Predictive Index Checklist
is available in sixty languages, plus Braille.

Job Model - How do you know who’s right for the job?
Before you match a person to a
job, you have to know what the job requires. That's where
the Job Model (Performance Requirement Options)
worksheet comes in. The Job Model gives you a road map for
the various positions in your organization, providing
insight into the behaviors and drives necessary for superior
performance in a given role.
The Job Model and the Predictive
Index work together. The Job Model helps you understand the
specific traits that lead to the most effective performance
in a particular job, given the realities of your
organization's methods, markets, processes and management.
It also gives you insight into similarities and differences
that might exist in various individuals' approaches to the
same job.
You can compare an individual's
PI results with the needs of the job, highlighting both fits
and gaps to make better-informed selection, coaching,
performance management and leadership decisions.
The Job Model is available in 15
languages.

Validity. Proven Results.
Since 1955, thousands of
businesses have depended on the Predictive Index for a
variety of uses, including employee selection. PI Worldwide
remains dedicated to conducting research that ensures that
the PI is pertinent, free of bias, valid, and reliable.
Clients around the world have
confidence in the Predictive Index not only because of its
proven accuracy, but also for its scientific and
research-based foundation:
- The Predictive Index was developed and validated in
compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
(EEOC) Guidelines, as well as the professional standards
established by the American Psychological Association
(APA) and the Society of Industrial & Organizational
Psychology (SIOP).
- We have amassed an extensive library of over 400
criterion-related job validity studies covering multiple
jobs, industries and countries that document the
instrument's validity and usefulness in the business
world.
- EEOC studies indicate that PI cannot distinguish if
a person has a disability or not. Therefore, PI is in
compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act
(ADA).
